It revolves around a concept I've been calling "Twinning!" This isn't just about doubling up spells, but about doubling down on your impact, both with your spells and your very existence. First, let's talk about the raw power of Twinned Spell if you can get your hands on it. While it's typically a Sorcerer Metamagic, a clever Necromancer can access it through the Metamagic Adept feat or by dipping a couple of levels into Sorcerer. Imagine casting Inflict Wounds on two targets at once, or locking down two key enemies with a single *Hold Person*. For a Necromancer, this means unparalleled battlefield control. You can disable threats to your precious undead army, or quickly eliminate weaker foes, all while your minions engage the frontline. It's a fantastic way to stretch your spell slots and ensure your presence is felt on every corner of the battlefield. Now, for the really necromancy-specific part that ties into the idea of "Twinning" in a different way: the Clone spell.
