As I delve deeper into my Hobonichi Weeks, I’m reminded of the importance of maintaining a structured routine, especially when juggling daily tasks and activities. From my professional commitments, such as court cases and work schedules, to personal goals, like reading ambitious fantasy novels, my planner acts as a reflection of my life in 2024. I’ve learned that it’s crucial to adapt my planning style as my needs change, especially with the start of a new year approaching. Moreover, I’ve discovered the benefits of using digital tools like Notion and Obsidian alongside my physical planner. These applications provide me with additional resources for organization and brainstorming, giving me versatility in how I plan. By staying open to different methods of planning, I can effectively tackle feelings of FOMO without being overwhelmed. Engaging with the planner community on social media through hashtags like #hobonichiplanner and #minimalistplanner allows me to gather insights from fellow planners, share my progress, and seek motivation. It’s reassuring to see that many of us experience similar dilemmas in planning, making it clear that we are part of a supportive community. As December progresses, I’m reminded of my motto from last year: "I’ll be active till I’m 120 years old!" which keeps me enthusiastic about documenting my journey through life and growth, both personally and professionally.
