Post after a long time.
Today is the current appearance of the foliage plants that were in the home improvement corner before.
・ Ficus Burgundy
The first picture is Ficus Burgundy that I bought at the beginning of November. The roots jumped out of the pot and the leaves were red with stress, probably because they were bathed in the sun in a small pot. I was repotting and taking care of the stressed leaves. The second picture is the current appearance. I was worried that I could not take care of it properly, but I safely put out new leaves ♪
· Himemonstera
Himemonstera that was half price when I bought it. I cut the leaves quite a bit because of insect bites, but now it is growing insanely. It is very cute to put out more and more new leaves.
Philodendron Prince of Orange
Because I had hurt the leaves quite a bit by eating insects, I dropped a lot of leaves at home. The fourth piece has sprouted and grown in its current form. The balance has become bad, so I will replant it when it gets warm.
・ Philodendron Birkin
It is a child that was sold cheaply mixed with ordinary philodendron with little variegation. It gave me a cute sprout. I am really looking forward to growing.

私も以前ホームセンターの見切り品コーナーで観葉植物を購入した経験があります。見切り品だからといって必ずしも状態が悪いわけではなく、適切な手入れをすれば元気に育てられることに気付きました。 例えば、フィカス・バーガンディは根が鉢から飛び出している時はすぐに植え替えをすることが大切です。根詰まりは成長を妨げるだけでなく葉の色にストレスサインが現れるので、観察を怠らず葉が赤くなっていたら注 意しましょう。植え替え時には土の質も見直し、排水性の良い土を使うのがおすすめです。 ヒメモンステラは虫喰いに弱い植物なので、発見したら早めに害虫駆除を行い、ダメージを受けた葉は思い切って切り落とすと新しい葉がぐんぐん伸びて来ます。冬の時期は室内の暖かい場所に置き、日光が当たる時間を確保するのが鍵です。 フィロデンドロン・プリンスオブオレンジやバーキンも成長スピードが早くバランスを崩すことがありますが、適期に植え替えをしてあげることで美しい姿を取り戻します。斑入りの葉が少ないバーキンはお得に購入できるチャンスなので、育てがいがあります。 見切り品の観葉植物は、買った時の状態が扱いにくくても、適切なセルフケア次第で見違えるほど元気に成長します。私が感じたのは、あきらめずにこまめに観察し栽培環境を工夫することが大切だということです。これからも見切り品コーナーでお宝探しをしつつ、植物の成長を楽しみたいと思います。
