I’m never part of the plan

... Read moreI've often felt like the one who doesn't quite fit into the bigger plans of others, especially in relationships and friendships. The line, "Don't let me be the one that got away," really hits home for me—it captures that bittersweet mix of hope and fear in love. What I’ve learned is that even when you feel like you’re not part of someone's grand plan, your value doesn’t diminish. Sometimes, the unpredictability of relationships brings out the best in us and shapes our growth. Making it "all worth it in the end" can mean embracing the journey, being present, and cherishing the moments you actually share, rather than focusing on the absence or the plans you weren’t included in. Being part of communities like #wlw and #lesbiansoftiktok has shown me how diverse love stories are, and how every experience, planned or unplanned, contributes to who we are. If you feel like you’re not part of the plan, remember it might just mean your story is unique and deserving of its own beautiful chapter. Holding onto hope and valuing your own worth can turn feelings of exclusion into empowering self-discovery.
