Visiting Nara and Osaka offers an incredible experience combining traditional culture and vibrant city life. One of my favorite memories was wandering through Nara Park, where the freely roaming deer add a unique charm to the surroundings. Feeding deer crackers and snapping photos with these gentle creatures is something I highly recommend. Besides exploring temples and historic sites, Nara’s local cuisine stands out, especially the ramen dishes. I found a spot serving exquisite ramen topped with extra chashu pork and seasoned eggs—perfect comfort food after a day of sightseeing. The meal was both affordable and delicious, enhancing my overall trip experience. In Osaka, I embraced the energetic atmosphere, famous street food, and shopping districts. Trying takoyaki (octopus balls) and okonomiyaki (savory pancakes) at street stalls gave me a true taste of the city’s culinary culture. The contrast between peaceful Nara and dynamic Osaka makes this itinerary well-rounded and fulfilling for any traveler. If you're planning your own trip, I suggest spending at least one full day in each city to soak in the different vibes. Don't forget to check out local eateries offering ramen with premium toppings like extra chashu and seasoned eggs, which are among the highlights not to miss during your Japan adventure.

✨ You can find many kimono rental shops in cities like Tokyo , Osaka , Nara and Kyoto . I decided to rent a kimono in Kyoto, because the old town is beautiful and loved it as a backdrop for photos. ✨ I would recommend to make a reservation at a rental shop, as some places do get booked out.
