Kyuramen Birthday 🍜🍥

Today was my husbands birthday! He loves a good ramen restaurant and usually he's not open to trying new things but he's been wanting to try this place that's a little under an hour from our house and needless to say, it was worth the drive!!

He got tonkatsu ramen and a pork bao bun with a lychee jelly desert and I got the honeycomb platter with a Thai tea and a matcha. We sat in the top honeycomb but there's open tables down below and private tables down the halls. There's also a robot down on the floor that brings food and stuff!

here's what I had: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The honeycomb platter had edemame which is always yummy, Lobster and chashu salad ball which was a little salty for me but still delicious! Shrimp tempura was soooo great and crunch! The eel was *chefs kiss* (my fav) on a bed of egg..? and eel sauce, and I think the last thing was scallop with seaweed salad but I've never seen scallop look like a clam/oyster. That part was so so delicious! Tasted like a really smoky steak 😋 the matcha desert was okay! I don't know why I wasn't expecting it to actually be matcha instead of coffee lmfao. And my Thai tea was amazing!
