Part 5 | Cascade Kingdom

Wow, what a journey it's been in Super Mario Odyssey so far! As I continue my adventure, this 'Part 5' installment brings us deep into the heart of the magnificent Cascade Kingdom. I remember first landing here, absolutely mesmerized by the prehistoric vibes and that colossal waterfall! But beyond the scenery, my main goal, as always, was to hunt down every single Power Moon. Let me tell you, some of these Cascade Kingdom moons were really cleverly hidden, and I definitely had my work cut out for me. One particular moon that had me scratching my head for a bit was Moon 19, often called 'Stone Bridge Treasure.' It’s not immediately obvious, but if you head towards the massive stone bridge near the Odyssey, look for a breakable section on one of the pillars. I remember jumping around there for ages before Cappy gave me a hint! You need to capture a Chain Chomp – those adorable but powerful guys – and steer him right into that cracked pillar. Boom! The moon pops right out. It felt so satisfying to finally snag it after a bit of puzzling. This one really tested my Cappy skills! Then there was Moon 33, which is 'Across the Odd-Road.' This one involves some precise platforming and careful timing. You'll find it by heading to the area past the first T-Rex, where you can see parts of the broken bridge leading across a chasm. It looks like a dead end, but there’s a secret pathway. You'll need to capture a Glydon and glide across to a hidden ledge on the far side. I actually missed this twice because I wasn't gliding far enough, but once I got the trajectory right, it was a smooth ride to Moon 33. The view from up there is incredible too, a fantastic reward for the effort! Beyond these specific moons, I've got a few general tips for anyone trying to collect all the Cascade Kingdom moons. Always keep an eye out for glowing spots on the ground – a ground pound often reveals a hidden moon. Don't forget to talk to every NPC you see; sometimes they offer hints or even trigger a moon appearance. And definitely spend time exploring the Cascade Kingdom waterfall area! There are secrets both behind it and around its base. I found a few moons just by carefully scanning the walls and ledges there. The verticality of the kingdom means you need to look up and down, not just straight ahead. I even stumbled upon a moon just by ground-pounding a suspicious-looking patch of dirt near the first T-Rex arena. It’s always an amazing feeling to discover these hidden gems. Each moon feels like a little victory, and the Cascade Kingdom truly offers a fantastic challenge. Happy hunting, fellow explorers!
