Vitamin for the soul ☀️
I spent all my morning crying yesterday, I knew a week ago I was desperately needing to submerge myself, in a spring or the beach but life wasn’t giving me the time for it. I tried going to a lake by my hose but I got scare since I live in Florida 🐊👀 so I chicken out. Last night I knew i had to come to the beach or things were going to be worse.
Nature is for real my mental health medicine and I’m so grateful for today’s sunset it was definitely needed 🌅🫶🏼
Don’t let yourself down. Listen to your body and give it what it needs. Drink water, go outside and stay kind to yourself 🤍
In today’s fast-paced world, mental health often takes a backseat, leaving individuals feeling overwhelmed and drained. It's essential to recognize the importance of self-care and seek solace in nature, as it has proven benefits for mental well-being. Combining physical activity, like walking by the beach or hiking, with the calming effects of natural surroundings promotes relaxation and stress relief. Research indicates that spending time outdoors can lower anxiety levels and boost mood while enhancing one’s overall mental state. Natural light also plays a vital role in regulating sleep patterns and elevating serotonin levels, which can combat feelings of depression. If a beach trip isn’t feasible, consider small outdoor activities, such as gardening or simply taking a walk in a park. Paying attention to your body’s needs, staying hydrated, and practicing mindfulness can significantly improve your mental health. Be sure to schedule some ‘me time’ to embrace the restorative power of nature, and you might find that it’s just what you need to rejuvenate your spirit.
