Art is on the brain

Always thinking about projects im working on and brainstorming 💡. Gotta keep cooking something 🍳

... Read moreAs someone deeply immersed in the creative process, I find that having a constantly active mind is both a blessing and a challenge. The phrase "Art is on the brain" perfectly captures this feeling when ideas swirl nonstop and projects evolve in the background of every thought. Brainstorming is more than just random idea generation; it's a disciplined practice that keeps creativity alive. For me, this means setting aside time daily to jot down thoughts, doodles, or even just single words that come to mind related to my current or future projects. One key realization I've had is that creativity benefits from consistent mental engagement, much like "always cooking something" in the kitchen. This ongoing ideation acts like a catalyst, encouraging experimentation and innovation. When faced with creative blocks, I remind myself to shift perspectives or combine unrelated concepts — a fruitful way to unlock new avenues. Moreover, the question "Why you so quiet? What's on your mind?" resonates strongly as it reflects how immersed artists often appear withdrawn while processing ideas internally. Embracing moments of quiet reflection can lead to breakthrough insights. If you’re an artist or creative person, keeping a digital or physical idea journal is invaluable. It ensures ideas aren't lost and helps track your evolving thought process. Whether you’re brainstorming new designs, narratives, or visual concepts, continuous mental engagement fuels growth and ultimately brings your artistic visions to life.
