... Read moreAnger is a complex emotion that many people experience but often express differently based on gender, social conditioning, and personal background. From my experience, men tend to exhibit more explosive anger, which can sometimes alienate those around them, while some women may internalize anger or show it in subtler ways. This commonality of how anger manifests is important to recognize for healthier emotional regulation. In my personal journey and counseling work, I’ve found that understanding the root cause of anger—whether it’s frustration, hurt, or unmet needs—is a crucial first step. Many men struggle with societal expectations that discourage vulnerability, which can cause anger to build up until it explodes. Women, on the other hand, especially those with people-pleasing tendencies, may suppress their anger to keep peace, leading to internal stress and less obvious but equally impactful emotional pain. Sport and physical activity can be helpful outlets for managing anger, providing a way to release energy and tension safely. However, combining physical release with reflective practices such as journaling or guided meditation helps create lasting change in managing anger. I highly recommend incorporating daily mindfulness exercises like those found in resources such as "BADASS WISDOM," which offers daily inspiration to reset your mindset. My own work, including the book "There’s a Hole in My Love Cup," digs deeply into how emotional wounds can fuel anger and how healing those wounds can transform relationships and personal wellbeing. Connecting with supportive communities, like the Badass Community or similar groups, offers invaluable opportunities to share experiences, reduce stigma around anger, and receive encouragement on the path toward emotional mastery. Access to counseling, whether through podcasts or one-on-one sessions, can also provide personalized strategies tailored to your unique emotional landscape. If you identify with the anger patterns described or feel stuck in managing your emotions, exploring these combined approaches—education, community support, mindfulness, and self-reflection—can lead to powerful breakthroughs. Remember, anger itself is a natural emotion, but how we understand and express it shapes our overall mental health and quality of relationships.

Ladies, stop falling for potential and start watching character.
As a woman of God, you need more than a man who knows church language, posts Bible verses, or looks spiritual in public. A man can quote scripture and still lack the character of Christ. The fruit will always expose what words try to hide. A godly man is not just someone who says “God told me,”
