Books I’ve “Read” So Far In 2024
So one of my goals this year was to read more and when I wasn’t sure where to start, #booktok stepped in 🙃
I also want to get this out of the way now, I’m an audio book girlie ❤️
I am a very slow reader and typically end up having to reread things often. Plus, my life is very busy and most days the only time I get to myself is driving home from work, so audio books work for me 🥰
I use #audible and #spotify to listen to my books
I binged #acotar and I wish I had taken my time, so amazing!
Thinking about listening to the audio dramatized adaptation as I’ve heard clips on TikTok and it sounds amazing!
So sad I can never relive “A Court Of Mist And Fury” for the first time all over again! And the way I was absolutely JAW DROPPED at the end of that book in particular still gets me 💚💚💚
I jumped right into Throne of glass after Acotar and for anyone wondering, I read Assassin’s Blade 3rd… #iykyk
Just started “Queen of shadow” in July but paused to read other things. I cannot wait to finish the Throne of Glass series! However, I didn’t want to blast through like I did with Acotar 🫠
I took a break in April to start the #bridgerton series to prep for season 3 before its premiere and I finished “The Duke And I” and I’m about halfway through “The Viscount Who Loved Me”
Someone at work recommended “The Silent Patient” to me and loaned me their copy so I am currently trying to read the physical copy. Again, I am struggling to finish it as I can only get a few pages in at a time.
I’m hoping to at least finish “Queen Of Shadows”, “The Silent Patient” and “The Viscount Who Loved Me” this month, Fingers crossed!
With my older son starting 8th grade this month, work being extremely demanding and everything else that comes with a 15 month old at home, I know I’m lucky to finish any books 😄
My goal was to read 12 books this year, at least 1 per month, so I feel good about progress. 🥰
