... Read moreWow, what an intense experience! For years, I've delved into various spiritual practices, but lucid dreaming and astral projecting always felt just out of reach. To wake up after astral projecting and lucid dreaming for the first time last night, having done both in the same evening, truly blew my mind and left my body buzzing with a strange energy. Many people wonder about the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection, and honestly, before last night, I mostly had theoretical knowledge. During my lucid dream, I was aware I was dreaming and could manipulate the dream environment. It felt like being in a highly vivid, interactive movie that I was directing. I could fly, change scenes, and talk to dream characters, all while knowing it wasn't 'real' reality. The sensation was exhilarating, like pure creative freedom. Then, later, I felt a distinct shift into what I believe was astral projection. This felt less like a dream and more like my consciousness had separated from my physical body. The environment felt incredibly real, almost tangible, but also distinctly non-physical. I wasn't controlling it like a dream; I was an observer, moving through space. It was less about manipulating a dreamscape and more about exploring a different plane of existence. The feeling of separation was profound – a sense of light detachment from my physical form, yet still fully conscious. The transition was subtle but clear in hindsight. Lucid dreaming felt internal, within my mind's construct. Astral projection felt external, like my spirit was truly leaving my body and perceiving another reality. Waking up after these experiences left me feeling incredibly weird, a mix of exhilarated, exhausted, and deeply reflective. It's truly a journey of self-discovery, and I'm still processing the full implications of experiencing both for the first time. It makes me wonder about the true nature of consciousness and reality!
