The truth is that Tinnitus or Active Noise Cancellation is a normal science, because the headphones emit sound waves that are opposite to the external sound, but some of our brains may interpret the unusual silence as "changing air pressure" (like when boarding a plane), so they feel tinnitus or dizziness.
