REALLY LEMON8…😒

I’m honestly a bit annoyed… not gonna lie.

I find this to be really upsetting for a lot of people on the platform, especially ones who have been loyal to LEMON8 since is started.

I get things happen, but I think this is just a really big MESS UP.. that should have never happened, now there’s gonna be a ton of creators on here that will be dismiss this app for a mistake this big.😅

HERES MY TAKE:

For the people who did receive this and get their hopes up and are excited should be able to be apart of the program or future programs that align with their niche. This would make so many creator here happy as many are micro and nano creators. 🤗🥰

Just some food for thought, BUT I wanna know… what’s your take? ⬇️

XOXO- your online BFF B ❤️

As a creator myself, I can totally empathize with the rollercoaster of emotions – from excitement at seeing 'You are selected!' to the quick deflation when it turned out to be a system glitch. It makes you wonder, what exactly does a 'Lemon8 career' or being part of a 'NEXT CREATOR PROGRAM' truly entail, and how do we, as creators, navigate these bumps in the road? For many of us, especially the micro and nano creators, these programs represent a fantastic opportunity. We pour so much passion and effort into our content, hoping for a chance to grow, connect with brands, and perhaps even turn our creative hobby into a sustainable path. A 'Career Creator' program often promises access to exclusive resources, mentorship, monetization opportunities, and increased visibility. It's about being recognized for our hard work and getting that extra push to elevate our presence on the platform. So, when a message like that comes through, even by mistake, it taps into a genuine aspiration. It's easy to feel deflated when a 'glitch' like this happens. My personal advice for dealing with such disappointments is to first, acknowledge the feeling. It's okay to be annoyed or frustrated. But then, channel that energy into something positive. Use it as a reminder of why you're creating in the first place. Was it for the love of sharing, connecting, or simply expressing yourself? Keep focusing on building authentic connections with your audience. That's the real currency on any platform. Secondly, let's talk about the 'glitch creators' aspect. While this specific incident was a platform error, it highlights the need for creators to be resilient and adaptable. Platforms evolve, and sometimes, there are hiccups. What we can control is our content quality, our engagement, and our mindset. Instead of dwelling on what went wrong, think about how you can continue to provide value and foster your community. Maybe this is a prompt to diversify your content or explore new niches that align with your passion. Also, remember the power of community. Sharing your experiences, frustrations, and insights with other creators can be incredibly therapeutic and constructive. Often, you'll find you're not alone, and collectively, we can offer feedback to platforms like Lemon8, helping them understand the impact of such incidents and encouraging better communication in the future. Perhaps there's an opportunity for Lemon8 to learn from this and launch an even more thoughtfully designed 'NEXT CREATOR PROGRAM' that genuinely supports its diverse creator base, ensuring transparency and fairness. Ultimately, pursuing a 'career' on Lemon8 or any social platform is a journey. It's filled with highs and lows, unexpected turns, and sometimes, even system glitches. My hope is that incidents like these, while frustrating, don't deter anyone from continuing to create and connect. Your dedication and unique voice are what truly make a difference.

I get it was a mistake but it’s also shown me that real people are behind lemon8 - not machines, autobots or credit card servers. Though I’m a little annoyed, there’s grace because this platform is really amazing where it stands right now! I’ll wait my time as a creator to be part of the selected few!

I’m already apart of their creator program so I thought it it was odd that I got invited to another niche
