5 INFLUENCER TRIPS IN 1 YEAR- HOW I DID IT 👏🏻

Hope y’all are doing great, hard to believe it’s already May!!!😍

Excited for summer and warmer weather eeeekkk!

LETS GET INTO IT:

HOW I have been able to land 5 influencer trips this year, & being the most normal person ever ( I’m serious when I say this) I’m nobody special, truly just and ordinary person like you! And if I can do it, you can do it.

Where to START⬇️

- Have a STRONG and I mean strong Media Kit, if you haven’t invested in one , do it. Take the time to mock up all the analytics, post and things you’ve done in your “social media career” & PUT IT DOWN! Everything you do is an asset if you know how to sell it right!

- Next, make a list of places you’d hope to go to. Yes write them down, if you don’t you will forget and maybe even cold reach out one too many times! 🥶

- You’re not gonna like this one but imma be honest , keeping it 100 with yall. Call the places you want to work with, yup I said it. Physically call them or I guess (email) if you’re a bit more shy about collaborating with them + the media kit here or follow up with their email and send it over to them!

- Expect LOTS OF NO’s, this is a hard pill to swallow. But it’s a part of show biz baby. Can’t win them all 🤣🤣 but I promise you, when you get that one “yes we’d love to collab” your confidence will go through the roof and fuel you to keep going!

- Last but not least, provide VALUE, give give give. This is a biblical and fundamental principle. The more you give the more you will receive and I feel like this tip is slept on when it comes to collabs. Especially if you were in the beginning stages of wanting to become a travel influencer, you will have to give more than what you bargained for, but see it as an opportunity to build your social media résumé, and I will help you in the long run.

I hope this helps!! I have had quite a few of you on Lemon8 actually reach out and book one on ones with me to grow your socials or get brand deals, if that interests you check out my bio and I’d love to help!!

... Read moreSecuring influencer trips can seem daunting, but with the right strategies, anyone can achieve it. First, investing in a strong media kit is crucial. This kit showcases your social media performance through metrics and past collaborations, making it easier to appeal to potential partners. Next, actively reach out to your dream locations. This means calling or emailing them directly to express your interest in collaboration—don’t shy away from taking this initiative! Expect a few rejections along the way; it’s normal in this industry, but don’t let them discourage you. The key is to remain persistent and motivated. Additionally, always prioritize providing value in your collaborations. Many budding influencers overlook this aspect; by giving more than what is expected, you build relationships that can lead to future opportunities. Start by offering to create engaging content or promote their services through your channels. This mindset not only enhances your credibility but can also significantly boost your social media presence. Finally, consider networking with other influencers. Engaging in discussions, asking for advice, and sharing experiences can spark new opportunities. Being active on social media platforms and sharing authentic content will help elevate your profile in the influencer community. With these strategies in mind, you’re well on your way to securing incredible travel experiences as an influencer!
