How I start my mornings (most days)

Good morning!

If you don’t know me, one thing you should know is that I am a woman of schedule. Everything has a schedule and if you look in my home you will see sharpie on various things with their schedule 😂. So most of my mornings look relatively the same. Here’s how I manage to do all my morning stuff while working full time.

I wake up around 5-5:45 A.M. and the first thing I do is wish I could go back to sleep. Just kidding (mostly), but in all seriousness, first thing I do is say a little prayer. Starting off my day with just a thanks to God for the simple things is something new this year I’ve been doing. And I’ve noticed a huge difference in how I look at things.

After prayer, I take a shower and set my clothes out. Some mornings I don’t shower depending on if I showered the night before.

After my shower, I do a little bible reading and I finish getting ready for the day. I try and leave the house around 6:30 A.M.

My commute to work is about 30 minutes and in that time I play worship music and spend some time just praising and praying. Sometimes crying.

Most mornings I get a chai or a coffee on my way into work.

And by 7:20 I’m at work!
