My toddler sometimes drives me overwhelmingly nuts. She’s on 100 all day, with big emotional, learning how to express herself but sometimes I feel like I’m not patient enough. I’m working on myself, and counting backwards from 10 if I’m feeling very overwhelmed. Or I’ll take a minute (put her in a #safespace ) and go hide in the bathroom.
Being a mother is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It’s always what has my heart the most full everyday. But I would be lying if there wasn’t times of darkness. But everyday is a new day, and no day is exactly the same. So if you’re having a bad moment, realize that’s all it is. A bad moment that will soon come to pass.
I’ll forever hold on & look back on sweet memories like this to get through some of those rollercoaster moments.
