They should have all the world

I’ve visited 13 states in the United States! And my favorite states are California, Florida and Illinois.#statesivebeento

... Read moreIt's been such a blast looking back at all the incredible places I've explored across the United States! When I mentioned California, Florida, and Illinois as my top three favorites, I realized I needed to share a bit more about why they stand out to me. Each of these states offered something truly unique that made my visits unforgettable. California, for instance, is just pure magic. From the vibrant energy of Los Angeles to the stunning natural beauty of national parks like Yosemite, it’s a state that truly has it all. I loved driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, soaking in those breathtaking ocean views, and exploring the diverse neighborhoods. There's an endless amount to do, and the food scene is absolutely incredible, no matter if you're in San Francisco or San Diego. It's truly a place where you can find any kind of adventure you're looking for, whether it’s hiking, surfing, or just enjoying city life. Then there’s Florida, which, for me, is all about sunshine and relaxation. The beaches are simply unparalleled – think soft white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Beyond the famous theme parks (which are a blast, by the way!), I really enjoyed discovering the natural springs and the unique ecosystem of the Everglades. There's a real laid-back vibe there that makes it perfect for unwinding. Plus, the fresh seafood is a huge bonus! I specifically remember a trip down to the Keys that was just spectacular, with those scenic drives and fresh conch fritters. And Illinois! While it might not always be the first state people think of for travel, Chicago completely captured my heart. The architecture is absolutely stunning, and I loved taking a boat tour to learn all about the city's history and design. The food scene here is also top-notch, from deep-dish pizza to incredible fine dining. There's so much rich history and culture, and the people are incredibly friendly. It’s a fantastic blend of urban excitement and welcoming Midwestern charm. Visiting 13 states has taught me so much about the diversity of America. Every state, from the mountains of WAshington and ORegon to the plains of ND and SD, offers its own distinct flavor. I've seen everything from expansive deserts in states like NV and AZ to lush green landscapes in TN and AR. Planning these trips often involves a lot of research, but it's always worth it to experience different cultures and landscapes. My best tip for anyone looking to explore more states is to embrace spontaneity, but also have a few key sights or experiences planned. Don't be afraid to venture off the beaten path – sometimes the most memorable moments happen when you least expect them. For example, while driving through states like IA or NE, I found charming small towns with unique local eateries that I never would have discovered otherwise. The beauty of travel is in discovering these hidden gems, whether it's a bustling city like those in NY or a tranquil forest in MI. What states are on your must-visit list? I'd love to hear about your travel dreams or experiences!
