this product is making me LOSE IT

!! EDIT UPDATE !! ulta finally put it on their website!! and I JUST POSTED A REVIEW!! check out my latest! 👀

heyy 🤭 just wanted to talk about something that's currently living in my head rent free!!

so, for context, i work in the salon at my local ulta. it's nice work, and while i have no knowledge on what's being stocked and restocked, it's nice to observe the shelves and see what they're selling.

that's when i stumbled upon ✨ this✨

it's the Living Proof PHD High-Shine Gloss. i already like living proof as a brand, and the holographic packaging stuck out compared to the rest of the products, so i was immediately intrigued.

i'm not really an impulse buyer, so after work i decided it'd be smart to see what other people have said about this gloss. right?

there is literally NO EVIDENCE of this product existing online?? i checked living proof's official website and social media, nothing! i checked ulta's website to see if it was just an ulta exclusive, still nothing! sephora? amazon? nope! absolutely nothing! i even checked REDDIT to see if i could potentially find someone discuss the existence of this thing, and STILL NOTHING! you know how debilitating it feels to NOT find a solution to your niche problem on reddit???

i legitimately felt crazy, for a brief moment i was convinced that i had somehow hallucinated the entire product, that the holo packaging was nothing but a figment of my imagination. i had to take a photo of it just to prove that i wasn't crazy 💀 like i know i'm a little mentally ✨ out there✨, admittedly i've visually and audibly hallucinated before, but if i somehow convinced myself that there was a product that never existed for DAYS?? catch me documenting my grippy sock vacation because i've officially lost it 😭 BUT it's real, i survive another day and i have photographic evidence of it!

and now i gotta know if anyone reading this knows ANYTHING about this product?? for details, it's an in-shower gloss treatment, essentially a deep conditioner that gives your hair extra shine.

my current theory right now is that this gloss is on a "trial run" to see what kind of traction it gets before officially launching it, and that the store i'm working at was just a part of that trial. i doubt that this is confidential if they literally have it on display, but how else can i explain it? if anyone has any knowledge of it (or has seen it) PLEASE lemme know because this has been the weirdest experience 💀 should i buy it and try it out?? 👀 maybe i will but ANYWAYS if you read all of this i appreciate you and i hope both sides of your pillow are cold tonight 🫶 have a good day!

I did find it. However, the reviews are not great on it:/. $30 is a bit much on a product with 3 stars

i’ve used this and like it a lot! cons would be that it makes your hair like really glossy but for the first day it’s like less flexible, like i have short hair and it is just idek it like sticks out more you could say? it is gone after the next day and might only happen for short haired girlies though
