November the ORLANDO season🐊

What’s the best thing to do in Orlando at 8am? - 2 hour trip with tour guide to find alligators and sightseeing (ofc picture time🤳)

... Read moreSo you're thinking about an Orlando alligator tour? Trust me, it's an absolute must-do if you're visiting Florida! My recent 8 AM kayak trip was seriously one of the best experiences I've had here. You really get to see a different side of Orlando away from the theme parks. First off, why early morning? I found that 8 AM was perfect. The air was cooler, the water was calmer, and the wildlife seemed more active. Our guide mentioned that alligators are often out basking in the morning sun or looking for an early meal, making them easier to spot. Plus, you beat the heat and the crowds, which is a huge bonus! When you're planning your trip, think about what kind of tour you want. We chose a guided kayak tour, which felt super immersive. Being low to the water in a kayak gives you such an intimate perspective of their habitat. Imagine paddling silently through the mangroves and then, BAM, there's a gator just a few feet away! Of course, guides are pros at keeping everyone safe and at a respectful distance. If kayaking isn't your thing, there are airboat tours too, which are faster and give you a different kind of thrill. What should you bring? Definitely wear comfortable, quick-drying clothes and shoes that can get wet. I packed sunglasses, a hat, and plenty of sunscreen – the Florida sun is no joke, even early! A waterproof bag for your phone and camera is essential if you want to capture those amazing alligator shots without risking a dunking. And don't forget water! Hydration is key. Our guide was fantastic, pointing out not just alligators but also a variety of birds like herons and egrets, and even turtles. It wasn't just about the gators; it was a full nature immersion. They also shared so many interesting facts about the ecosystem and alligator behavior. Learning how to spot them hiding among the reeds was part of the fun. A few tips from my experience: Book in advance: Especially for popular morning slots, tours can fill up quickly. Listen to your guide: They know the waters and the wildlife best. Safety first! Be patient: Wildlife spotting requires a bit of patience, but it's always worth it when you finally see that gator emerge. Go with an open mind: You might see more than just alligators! Every tour is different. This two-hour adventure flew by, and I left feeling invigorated and with some truly memorable photos. If you're looking for an authentic Florida experience that combines adventure with nature, an early morning alligator tour in Orlando is definitely the way to go. It’s a fantastic way to connect with the wild side of the Sunshine State!

A few places we loved in London this November 🇬🇧
London in November was such a good mix of exploring and slowing down. We walked everywhere, took the Tube, found cute spots for tea, and stopped at all the places we’ve always wanted to see — Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the bridge views, and the prettiest storefronts getting ready for the season.
