FUNDAY Strawberry Cream Gummies
This is the first flavor I chose to try out of my FUNDAY The Can’t Decide Box. These gummies are super cute and kind of remind me of deviled eggs. The bottom layer is more of a puffy gummy texture.
3/10 Over all we decided these “not bad, but not our favorite”. We did think that other people may enjoy them more than we did. My fiancé and I both agreed that we would enjoy them on a gummy platter, but they would probably be some of the last ones last.
When I picked up these FUNDAY Strawberry & Cream Flavored Gummies, the first thing that caught my eye on the pouch, besides the cute design, was the promise of 'No sugar added' and 'Prebiotic fibre.' Seriously, who doesn't love the idea of a healthier sweet treat? I always flip to the back to check the 'Nutrition Facts' and 'Ingredients,' and FUNDAY Natural Sweets really tries to deliver on that better-for-you promise. They swap out traditional sugars for sweeteners like erythritol and stevia, which means fewer calories and no sugar spikes – a big win for anyone managing their sugar intake or just trying to be more mindful. The 'Prebiotic fibre' is another fantastic addition. It's designed to support gut health, which is something I've been paying more attention to lately. So, while these are still a treat, they definitely feel like a step up from your average gummy candy full of refined sugar. It’s comforting to know I’m getting a little something extra, even if it’s just a small boost for my digestive system. For me, knowing a candy can be 'actually healthy' in some aspects makes the indulgence a bit guilt-free. It’s definitely a consideration when I’m choosing my next gummy candy. Even though the Strawberry & Cream Gummies weren't a 10/10 for my personal taste, I'm still really intrigued by FUNDAY Natural Sweets as a brand. Their commitment to 'no sugar added' and 'prebiotic fibre' across their range is a huge draw. I've seen reviews for their other flavors, like Peach and Raspberry, and many people absolutely rave about them. It makes me wonder if the Strawberry & Cream is just a unique profile that might not be for everyone, or if my palate just prefers something more tart or classic when it comes to fruity gummies. I’m definitely planning to explore more of their range soon, because finding a guilt-free gummy that truly hits the spot is a quest worth undertaking! It's great to have options for creamy gummies that don't overload you with sugar, and FUNDAY seems to be leading the way in that niche. Thinking about how these 'deviled egg' looking gummies could shine on a 'gummy platter' made me consider other ways to enjoy them. While they might be the 'last ones last' for me personally on a mixed platter, I think they could be fantastic for specific uses. For example, if you're hosting a party with health-conscious guests, these 'no sugar added' Strawberry & Cream gummies could be a thoughtful addition. Or, perhaps chopped up and sprinkled over a plain yogurt or a fruit salad for a little texture and sweetness without adding a ton of extra sugar. Their unique puffy texture could also be interesting in a dessert. For any gummy candy lover, keeping them fresh is key – I always transfer mine to an airtight container once opened to maintain that perfect chewiness.
