My First Run
Today I work up and decided just to give running a try. I had mentioned to my fiancé that I thought I could run a 5k at one point. Which is an odd thing for me to say because A.) I’ve never ran before and B.) I hate running. Although with the idea of the 5k on my mind I decided to give it a shot today.
I did a warm up by walking to a near by park. I then ran for almost 8 minutes. Which I definitely couldn’t have done before I had my daughter. So being able to do this now is amazing for me. I was also pushing a stroller and my daughter. So bonus points? My total distance was 2.01 miles! I’m quite proud of that.

•Having an accountability partner helps! •Comfortable shoes and socks •Drink water- it’s all about your hydration even days before •I love my running belt •signing up for a run even if it’s a 5k. Helps bc your training for something I am no expert just started my journey in May myself.
