This book is in Spanish so my review will be in Spanish. ⭐️Overall rating: /5:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-Game On by Navessa Allen 06/09/26-0615/26
This is the last book of the Into the Darkness trilogy, I enjoy the story, the drama and the plot between Tyler and Stella, but if I’m been honest I enjoy the two first books more than this one.

-Hooked by Emely McIntire
First book of the Never After Serie, honestly I feel bad for Wendy, she believes so much in his father even though he demonstrated so many times that he doesn’t care about family but she learns to assert herself and navigate the dark underworld she's thrust into, ultimately questioning whether she is falling for James. James is looking for revenge and try to use Wendy to achieve it.

For instance, "Boss" by Eva Muñoz, though lengthy and in Spanish, offers a rich narrative filled with intense drama and emotional turmoil, revolving around the enemies-to-lovers trope with an 18-year age gap between the characters Ilenko and Emma. Such complex relationships can resonate differently depending on cultural context, and reading it in Spanish added an immersive layer to the experience.
Regarding "Game On" by Navessa Allen, as the final installment of the Into the Darkness trilogy, it wrapped up ongoing tensions and character arcs, especially between Tyler and Stella. I personally felt that the emotional payoff was stronger in the earlier books, which often happens with concluding volumes in series. Fans of drama-packed trilogies with romantic and suspense elements might appreciate how the story builds throughout, despite my preference for the first two books.
"Hooked" by Emely McIntire introduces the Never After series with gripping themes of trust, betrayal, and survival in a dark underworld. Wendy’s journey learning to assert herself while navigating a dangerous environment reminded me of similar young adult thriller narratives, where characters are forced to grow under pressure. The antagonist James’ desire for revenge adds compelling tension, making readers question loyalties throughout.
One thing I consistently notice when reading and reviewing such books is how personal experiences and emotional states influence enjoyment and interpretation. Also, balancing reading with life's demands means sometimes fewer books get finished, but our engagement with them deepens. For readers exploring these titles, it's worthwhile to prepare for intense emotional narratives, complex character dynamics, and themes of trauma and redemption.
For those interested in expanding their June reads, combining these books with other popular emotional dramas or thriller series can create a rich variety of perspectives and narrative styles. Engaging with book communities on platforms like Lemon8 allows sharing insights and discovering new favorites, enhancing the overall reading journey.
