I think JAPANESE food is the best

💁🏻‍♀️ Don’t get me wrong. I love my country’s food and it’s of course in the first place on my list of fav food but don’t you agree with me that Japanese food it’s sooo good? of course it’s not the same thing eating Japanese food in America than eating 🥣 Traditional Japanese food in Japan but let’s be real 😭 all the ingredients they use is perfect everything is so balance their food always come with salad, soup, rice, and fish or any other protein, is not too sweet is not way too salty. I would love to visit JAPAN 🇯🇵 but I’m broke 🙁. I’m not even going to talk about their traditional sweets because I’m going to cry!.

... Read moreI remember the first time I truly understood why Japanese food is considered so amazing. It wasn't just about the taste, but the entire philosophy behind it. When I'm thinking about a balanced meal, Japanese cuisine immediately comes to mind. It’s not just a plate of food; it's an art form where every component plays a crucial role in creating a harmonious and nourishing experience. What truly stands out is the incredible balance of flavors and nutrients. Unlike some cuisines that can be overly sweet or salty, Japanese dishes hit that perfect sweet spot. You often find a thoughtful combination of protein, carbohydrates, and vegetables, often accompanied by a comforting soup and a fresh salad. This isn't just about deliciousness; it's about feeling satisfied and energized without feeling heavy afterward. It’s truly unique in its simplicity and reliance on high-quality, fresh ingredients that speak for themselves. Let me tell you about some of my absolute favorites that exemplify this. Take Yakisoba, for instance. It's not just stir-fried noodles; it's a delightful medley of savory sauce, tender meat (or vegetables), and crisp cabbage, all coming together in a perfectly seasoned bite. Then there's Yakitori, especially the beef kind. Simple skewers, grilled to perfection, often with just a hint of salt or a touch of sweet soy glaze. It's the purity of the ingredients shining through. And who could forget Chicken Katsu? That crispy, golden-brown cutlet, often served alongside fluffy rice and a crisp cabbage salad, is pure comfort. It’s hearty without being overwhelming, and the balance of textures and flavors is just divine. Similarly, Karaage, those perfectly seasoned and fried chicken bites, are incredibly juicy and tender on the inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside. They are a testament to how simple ingredients can create profound flavors. Finally, Ramen – whether it's a rich pork broth or a lighter seafood base – is a meal in itself. It's a bowl of warmth and complexity, with perfectly cooked noodles, succulent toppings, and a broth that has simmered for hours to develop its deep umami. Each slurp is a journey! These dishes aren't just tasty; they reflect a culinary approach that prioritizes freshness, seasonality, and the inherent flavors of ingredients rather than relying heavily on excessive spices or oils. It’s this meticulous attention to detail and dedication to creating a holistic dining experience that, for me, truly makes Japanese food the best. Every meal is a discovery, a moment of pure culinary bliss.
