On a lighter note, "Kiss Me, Baby, One More Time" by Cindy Ray Hale offered a charming romantic comedy set in Maple Creek, which I appreciated for its heartwarming and engaging characters. Meanwhile, "Everything Everything" by Nicola Yoon, which I read before watching the film adaptation, lived up to its praise for being heart-wrenching and visually evocative. Elsie Silver's "Wild Love" stands out as a beautifully written romance with strong emotional depth. It's no wonder this USA Today bestseller impressed me so much. Additionally, "Tell Me In Secret" by Mercedes Ron offered an intriguing narrative full of secrets and dramas that held my attention till the last page. While I rated "This Song Is (NOT) For You" by Laura Nowlin a bit lower at 3 stars, I still appreciated the poignant themes it tackled and its reflective storytelling approach. Overall, June was my most productive reading month so far, and I felt a real sense of accomplishment completing these varied titles.
