This is one of the deadliest medication errors in nursing. Why? Because the standard insulin concentration is U-100 (100 units/mL). Drawing up 1 mL is equal to 100 units, which can lead to severe or even fatal hypoglycemia.

👉 Tachycardia
👉 Sweating
👉 Confusion
