What’s your top book of 2024 (so far)?

I just finished The Measure by Nikki Erlick and when I say this may be one of my new favorite books, I’m not exaggerating. Following 8 intertwined perspectives, The Measure explores what would happen if everyone (at the age of 22+) had the ability to find out how long they would live. From exploring the divide between people who wanted to know and those that didn't to how the world would change following that possibility. This book had a great balance of romantic, familial, and friendly relationships as well as how something like this could impact someones career or the politics of the world.

I thought the concept of this book was so interesting and was blown away by how the topic was developed throughout the story. Usually when a book has this many POV’s I find myself overly invested in one and not caring about the rest, but that was not the case here at all.
