No more flab’s 😤
I think I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel if I squint 😂 #fitness #fitnessjourney #75hard #75hardchallenge #fitnesschallenge
When I first posted 'No more flab’s 😤,' I was just starting to feel a shift, a glimmer of hope on my 75 Hard journey. Now, a bit further along, I can confidently say this challenge has been a monumental step in my weight loss transformation. It's not just about shedding pounds; it's about building an unshakeable discipline that translates into a healthier, stronger me. Like many, I'd tried various diets and workout routines with inconsistent results. The extreme structure of 75 Hard – two 45-minute workouts (one outdoors), a gallon of water, a strict diet, no alcohol, no cheat meals, 10 pages of reading, and progress pictures daily – felt daunting but also like exactly what I needed to break old habits and truly commit. For weight loss, the consistent calorie burn from daily workouts and the elimination of processed foods, sugars, and alcohol are absolute game-changers. My days on 75 Hard are a testament to routine. It often kicks off bright and early at 4:30 AM, a time I never thought I'd embrace willingly! After a quick stretch and some water, my first 4:45 AM workout often happens at HOTWORX. The infrared sauna workouts are incredible for sweating out toxins and boosting metabolism. The outdoor workout usually comes later in the day, sometimes a brisk walk, other times a run, no matter the weather. Hydration is constant – that gallon of water is no joke! Meals are prepped and planned to fit my strict diet; no room for spontaneity here. I'm usually wrapping up my second workout or preparing dinner around 2:48 PM, and then dedicating evenings to reading and reflecting, often before 8:17 PM. It truly feels like a 'Day in the Life of a Stranger' sometimes, a completely new me! The mental game is the hardest part. There are days when motivation dips, when the thought of another outdoor workout in the rain or resisting a social drink feels unbearable. But the non-negotiable nature of 75 Hard is its power. I remind myself of my 'why' – the desire to stop the 'flab' and feel truly in control of my body and health. Having a clear diet plan has also been key. Instead of feeling deprived, I focus on nourishing my body with whole foods, which has naturally led to significant weight loss. If you’re looking to use 75 Hard for weight loss, here are my top tips: Define Your Diet: Don't just 'eat healthy.' Pick a specific, sustainable diet plan (keto, whole-foods, calorie-counting) and stick to it rigidly. This is where most of the weight loss happens. Hydration is Key: That gallon of water helps with fullness, metabolism, and flushing toxins. Don't skip it. Vary Workouts: While two 45-minute workouts are mandatory, mix them up. Hotworx is great, but also incorporate strength training, cardio, and active recovery to keep your body guessing and prevent plateaus. Prioritize Sleep: Your body needs rest to recover and burn fat efficiently. Aim for consistent, quality sleep. Mental Prep: This is a mental challenge more than physical. Prepare for setbacks, create strategies for cravings, and remind yourself why you started. Seeing my body change, feeling fitter, and knowing I'm building this incredible mental toughness is the ultimate reward. It’s an incredible '75 Hard Edition' of my life, and I'm so glad I committed to this weight loss journey.
