What is out of your control?

a few things i do to help ground myself in these moments where i feel like everything is out of reach:

💛 stop yourself in a moment of frustration and ask yourself “what is one thing I can do right now to change how I feel?”

💛 when your mind feels cluttered journal. Journal. Journal. Focus on things you feel you can control in that moment/moving forward.

💛 if you feel yourself spiraling, get your minds attention and ground yourself. Notice the things around you, listen to the sounds of everything around you, and take 3 deep breathes (or more) to regulate your parasympathetic nervous system.

💛remind yourself that at the end of the day, the only perception of yourself that matters most is your own. No one has control of your life. You are the only person who can do that.
