... Read moreDuring my second day in Shanghai, I found it incredible how the city blends rich history with modern vibes. Starting the morning with breakfast at Apolli Bakery was a real treat — their fresh pastries and coffee perfectly energized me for the day ahead. The bakery’s cozy atmosphere made it a charming spot to relax and plan my itinerary. For lunch, I headed to the Tang Dynasty Royal Banquet, which offered a unique cultural dining experience. The experience wasn’t just about the food; the setting and presentation reflected the grandeur of ancient China, making the meal truly memorable. If you appreciate authentic culinary traditions mixed with storytelling, places like this are a must-try. Later in the day, I explored the intriguing Wukang Road area, where the old and new Shanghai come alive through historic buildings and vibrant cafes. One highlight was the T PROJECT, a creative space that felt very welcoming and modern. For dinner, I discovered a hidden gem that locals rave about. The best dinner spot I found combined exquisite flavors with excellent service, capping off the day perfectly. Shanghai’s culinary scene is vast and diverse — from historic royal banquets to modern eateries, there's something to delight every palate. If you’re planning your visit, consider pacing your meals to savor both the food and cultural experiences. Shanghai’s day-to-night transformation is magical, and sharing these moments through vlogs helps capture its vibrant spirit.
