I’m an HSP: What That Means & How I’ve Grown

Being an HSP isn’t a weakness... it’s a superpower when you understand it. For so long, I felt like I had to toughen up or tone myself down. I was told I was too sensitive, too emotional, too affected by everything around me. But deep down, I knew there was something beautifully intentional about how I was created.

When I learned about what it means to be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), everything clicked. My sensitivity wasn’t brokenness... it was discernment. I wasn’t dramatic... I was deeply attuned. And that shift changed everything.

Now, I build my life around supporting that sensitivity instead of suppressing it. I’ve found rhythms, boundaries, and habits that help me protect my peace, harness my empathy, and show up as the full version of who I am created to be :))

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by sounds, energy, or people’s moods… you might be an HSP too. And you’re not alone. Save this post to learn how to thrive as an HSP—without dimming your light.
