My✨NEW✨ morning routine since moving to Utah

A couple weeks post-move and I can confidently say:

1. Waking up earlier has been easier in the new time zone, so REALLY trying to maximize that

2. This has been the most consistent I have been with a routine in a while and it has been the absolute BEST

3. I wake up at 6-6:30a pending my schedule for the day & go to bed about 9:30-10p which has been helping me feel rested

One key element that has made a big difference is starting my day with Bible study around 6:30 AM. It helps me build a calm, focused mindset and sets a positive tone for the whole day. I specifically read Nehemiah during this time, which has given me thoughtful insights and motivation. Incorporating the OMNILUX red light therapy and meditation right after Bible study at 6:55 AM has become a favorite habit stack. It not only supports my mental clarity but also improves my skin and overall well-being. The gentle glow of the red light combined with focused breathing keeps me centered before moving onto physical activity. I alternate workouts based on the day: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are dedicated to strength training, while Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday focus on Pilates. This blend of exercises keeps my body feeling strong, flexible, and balanced. It’s been rewarding to notice sustained energy levels throughout the day thanks to these regular movement sessions. After workouts, I follow a simple but nourishing routine—making my bed, dressing for the day, completing my skincare, and enjoying a podcast. This routine shift keeps my environment tidy and my mind engaged with positive content. Breakfast around 8:00 AM typically includes a protein shake while I prepare a wholesome meal with ingredients like eggs, chicken sausage, sweet potatoes, parmesan cheese, and a dash of hot sauce for flavor. This combination fuels me well through the morning's work. Of course, I can’t forget my coffee ritual—a decaf Americano sweetened with honey and topped with sweet cream, which adds comfort and indulgence without over-caffeinating. Overall, this morning routine has brought a refreshing structure and joy to my days since my move. It’s still an ongoing experiment as I fine-tune what works best, but the consistency and balance in waking early, practicing spiritual reflection, embracing movement, and nourishing my body have greatly improved my energy and focus. I hope sharing this gives you some inspiration to customize a morning routine that revitalizes your own days, whatever your location or schedule!
