Bible nugget of the day
When you share about Jesus, it’s a beautiful thing
Sharing about Jesus is more than just speaking words; it’s about carrying a message of hope and salvation that has the power to transform lives. The Bible verse from Isaiah 52:7 highlights this beautifully—the feet of those who bring the good news are described as beautiful, symbolizing the joy and blessing that comes from being a messenger of peace. From personal experience, I have found that sharing Jesus’ message brings a unique sense of fulfillment that material things simply cannot replace. While a new car or salary increase may bring temporary happiness, the joy that stems from witnessing someone’s life change after hearing the Gospel is deeply rewarding and long-lasting. The prophet Isaiah spoke of this good news centuries before Jesus arrived, emphasizing that Jesus’ coming is a source of true happiness and blessings. This is especially meaningful when we consider that those who not only accept Jesus but also share His message receive a special blessing. Being part of this spiritual mission creates a powerful connection to God’s purpose and a heartfelt desire to uplift others. In daily life, there are many opportunities to share this Good News—whether through conversations, acts of kindness, or simply living out faith authentically. These moments may seem small, but their impact can be profound. When we carry the message of Jesus' peace and salvation to others, we become the 'people with beautiful feet'—messengers who bring hope to a hurting world. Therefore, embracing the role of sharing Jesus isn’t just about spreading a message; it’s an invitation to experience a joy and blessing that enriches both the giver and the receiver, making life more meaningful and purposeful.
