toilet design tips for lazy cleaners 👍

1/20 Edited to

... Read moreWhen it comes to designing a bathroom that's easy to clean, I found that choosing the right toilet style makes a huge difference. For example, one-piece toilet bowls have a smooth surface without crevices, which means dirt and mold don't get trapped as easily. In contrast, two-piece toilets tend to have gaps that collect grime, making cleaning far more tedious. Another detail to consider is the type of shower door. Sliding shower doors look sleek but often accumulate soap scum and grime in narrow tracks and mechanisms that are tough to clean. Frameless shower doors, on the other hand, have fewer edges and corners, so wiping them down is much simpler and faster. Tile grout color also affects maintenance. I used to think white grout looked the cleanest, but it shows dirt and mold quickly, demanding frequent harsh scrubbing that can damage the grout. Switching to dark or black grout helped hide stains and reduced the cleaning frequency drastically. Overall, focusing on smooth, seamless surfaces and practical materials not only keeps the bathroom aesthetically pleasing but also cuts down the cleaning time significantly. These small design choices have transformed my bathroom routine, making it quick and almost effortless to maintain a fresh, clean space.

Everyone loves my toilet design 😍
One small decision that made a big difference. Natural light flows from the toilet through a reeded glass panel into the vanity area — privacy without losing brightness — finished with a white aluminium slim French door. Loving the whole vibe. ✨ #sghome #sgrenovation #sginteriordesign
