i stopped getting sick after i learnt this 🥹🙏🏼

3/3 Edited to

... Read moreFrom my own experience, I used to think that wiping down surfaces with a cloth and soap was enough to keep my home germ-free. However, I found myself getting sick repeatedly, especially during cold and flu season. It wasn’t until I learned the difference between cleaning and disinfection that things changed for the better. Cleaning is primarily about removing physical dirt like dust, debris, food crumbs, and stains. While this makes surfaces look cleaner, it doesn’t eliminate invisible threats such as bacteria, viruses, and dust mites that can linger and make you sick. For example, I realized that even after cleaning, my high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and remote controls could still carry harmful germs. Disinfection, on the other hand, targets these microorganisms to kill them or reduce their number to safe levels. Using EPA-approved disinfectants or bleach solutions on these surfaces helped me greatly in lowering the risk of infections in my household. I started sanitizing regularly, especially after coming home from public places, and noticed a significant drop in the frequency of my illnesses. Additionally, understanding when to disinfect is just as important. Disinfection is especially critical after someone in the household is sick, or during outbreaks of contagious diseases. It’s also a good practice to disinfect shared spaces and items frequently used by multiple people. Incorporating disinfection into my cleaning routine also made me more mindful about hygiene practices like hand washing and avoiding touching the face. Together, these habits created a healthier environment for me and my family. In summary, if you’ve been experiencing frequent sickness despite cleaning your home regularly, consider adding disinfection to your routine. It’s the key distinction I learned that stopped me from getting sick and can make a big difference in your household too.
