This week has been a deep dive into the metal framework of Citra’s torso and limbs. Welding small, precise joints for fluid movement is absolutely no joke. I’ve learned so much about metal fatigue, the importance of a clean, consistent bead, and the nuances of working with different metal gauges. There were a few moments where I thought I’d have to restart a whole section, especially when trying to get the angles just right for future articulation points, but patience (and a lot of grinding!) truly paid off.
