I’m learning verse mapping!!

Im going to be honest I’ve been struggling with consistency in learning the word of god. Lately I have been over worked, over tired and just not taking care of my self like I’m usually do. I don’t know if it’s the winter blues or what but I just don’t have the energy for anything. So I am trying to get my grove back in a fun new way…. Verse mapping!!! I hope this helps me to learn deeper and focus on the word more #findgod🙏🏼📖 #embracevulnerability #jesusfollower #Lemon8Diary #jesusgirl

... Read moreVerse mapping is a powerful technique that can help you engage more deeply with scripture. It begins with choosing a verse that resonates with you, followed by exploring its context and translations for deeper understanding. As you map the verse, consider cross-referencing related scriptures to see how they connect. This not only broadens your insight but also highlights recurring themes and messages in the Bible. For example, while mapping John 3:16, we see it emphasizes God's immense love and the promise of eternal life offered through faith in Jesus. Using a variety of translations can enrich your comprehension and encourage reflection on how these teachings apply to your life. Additionally, consider employing symbols to mark keywords and phrases that stand out during your study. This visual approach aids retention and keeps you engaged. Incorporate a prayer component by reflecting on what you've learned and asking for guidance to apply these lessons in daily life. Engaging in community discussions around your findings can also deepen your understanding and foster a supportive environment for spiritual growth.
