How I teach my toddler that Jesus can live in his heart❤️
Jesus loves them, and he is always with him, and we can invite him into our daily life by:
✨PRAYER.
When we pray, I ask him simple questions like:
What or when can can we pray? (When we eat, when we sleep, when we are happy, sad or whatever we feeling we talk to Jesus.)Talking to Jesus is inviting him into our life.
Add prayer into their daily routine.
✨SHOWING KINDNESS.
How can we be kind? You were really kind when…
✨LEARNING BIBLE STORIES/ STORYTIME
You’re teaching them who Jesus is and who he was.
-Invite your toddler to pray together. A small prayer that is easy for them to remember.
Example: “Jesus, come into my heart. Help me be share your love in every way. Thank you Jesus for loving me. ❤️ Amen!”

✨APRENDIENDO HISTORIAS BÍBLICAS/CUENTOS.
Les estás enseñando quién es Jesús y quién fue.
-Invita a tu hijo pequeño a orar juntos. Una oración corta y fácil de recordar.
Ejemplo: “Jesús, ven a mi corazón. Ayúdame a compartir tu amor en todo momento. Gracias, Jesús, por amarme. ❤️ Amén.”

Kindness is another core value in teaching about Jesus living in our hearts. When children show kindness, pointing it out and praising their actions helps them connect loving behaviors to Jesus’ teachings. Saying things like, "You were really kind when you helped your friend," helps them recognize love in action. Lastly, sharing Bible stories in a fun storytime format introduces toddlers to who Jesus is and His life’s lessons. The storytelling can be enhanced with props or visuals, making it both educational and enjoyable. Overall, combining prayer, kindness, Bible stories, and creative crafts creates a nurturing environment where toddlers can understand and feel that Jesus truly lives in their hearts.
