How I Boost My Happy Hormones

There was a time when I constantly felt tired, unmotivated, and just not like myself. I thought I was lazy or just in a funk. But the truth? My happy hormones were out of sync and no one ever taught me how much they matter.

So I started paying attention. Not in a strict, obsessed way but in a gentle, self-loving way. I found out that

Dopamine is boosted when I finish small tasks or do something fun.

Serotonin comes alive when I get sun on my skin and move my body.

Oxytocin shows up when I hug my dog or talk to someone I love.

Endorphins come rushing in when I laugh, stretch, or dance around my room.

I stopped trying to fix myself and started supporting my brain and body with what they were really asking for. I’m not perfect every day, but now I have real tools when I feel low.
