I’m starting to realize that I might have confused burnout with depression for a long time. The emptiness, the brain fog, the lack of motivation I thought something was wrong with me emotionally. But honestly? I was just tired. Tired of giving, tired of showing up, tired of pretending I was fine. It’s scary how similar the two can feel.
