The Grocery Items I Buy on Repeat

If you looked in my Walmart cart any given week, there’s a good chance you’d find these same 5 items

They’re affordable, easy to keep stocked, and make throwing together a quick breakfast or snack so much easier. Most mornings I’m making some version of oatmeal or a smoothie with at least a few of these ingredients.

Nothing fancy just grocery staples I genuinely buy on repeat because they work for my lifestyle.

... Read moreBased on my weekly grocery routine, I’ve found that having a reliable list of staple items makes meal preparation so much easier and less stressful. For me, the core five items I buy consistently are Quaker 100% whole grain rolled oats, Lifeway Kefir cultured lowfat milk, Smucker’s creamy peanut butter, Bibigo cooked sticky white rice, and a probiotic drink like Lifeway’s Live & Active Probiotics. Oatmeal is one of my favorite healthy breakfast choices because it’s filling, budget-friendly, and packed with soluble fiber which can help reduce cholesterol and support heart health. Pairing oats with kefir not only adds creaminess but also a boost of protein and probiotics, supporting digestive health naturally. These two ingredients often form the base for my quick smoothies or warm breakfasts. Peanut butter brings in a satisfying source of protein and healthy fats, making snacks or toast more substantial. I prefer natural peanut butter with just peanuts and salt, free of added sugars or oils, which keeps my energy steady through busy mornings. The Bibigo cooked sticky white rice is a complete game-changer for me — it’s microwave-ready in 90 seconds and is perfect for an easy side dish or a quick meal base. I especially appreciate that it’s gluten-free and non-GMO, fitting well into a variety of diets. It pairs wonderfully with sautéed veggies or leftover proteins for a lazy dinner savings. Finally, the probiotic drinks, such as those from Lifeway, keep gut health in check with live active cultures and also provide an extra 10 grams of protein per serving. They’re a refreshing way to enhance digestion and overall well-being daily. Having these staples on hand allows me to mix and match quickly, reduce food waste, and maintain nutritious habits without spending excessive time or money at the grocery store. I recommend stocking these items if you want simple, healthy, and convenient meal options that support an active lifestyle. What’s one grocery item you can’t live without? Feel free to share!

I tried to like the Kiefer brand, but I could not get past it. I feel like it. It’s not for me. It’s really healthy though. I wanted to like it so bad.
