I remember a time when I used to think I had to earn God's approval, constantly trying to be 'good enough.' It was an exhausting cycle of guilt and striving. I can know for sure that I am right with God. This justification by grace is such a foundational truth. It frees us from the burden of trying to measure up. Instead, we can focus on living a life that honors Him, not out of obligation, but out of immense gratitude and love. This truth also makes me reflect on what it means to be 'conformed to the image of his son.' It’s not about mimicking Jesus perfectly overnight, but allowing His spirit to work in us, transforming us from the inside out.
