Our home, Now in print 😍

I still can’t believe it—our home has been featured in Design 4 Space’s latest in-house magazine! 🖤

From sketch to reality, this journey has involved countless decisions, laughter, and learning moments. Seeing it beautifully captured in print feels surreal.

It’s also wonderful to see our home being showcased across various interior platforms.

Even after six months of living here, I still fall in love with every corner. I’m genuinely excited to be at home every single minute.

I’m so grateful to our designer and the entire team for turning every curve and detail into a space that truly feels like us.

From my own experience, transforming a space involves many stages—from conceptualizing and choosing themes to coordinating with designers and managing budgets. What made this project unique was aiming for a clean, functional, and timeless design that still reflected our personality. One important factor was setting a realistic budget, around S$100,000, which aligns with many BTO HDB 4-room flats’ renovation costs. This helped us prioritize essential details while achieving a high-quality finish. Working closely with a professional designer ensured that every curve and corner served a purpose and contributed to the aesthetic and functionality of the home. Living in the renovated space for over six months, the initial excitement has matured into comfortable familiarity. Every morning, walking through the rooms feels like reconnecting with a piece of art shaped specifically for us. Such satisfaction comes from thoughtful design that balances style with practical living. Seeing our home showcased on multiple interior platforms and in print highlights the broader impact of good design—how it can inspire others seeking renovation ideas or aspire to create their cozy nooks. For anyone embarking on a similar journey, my advice is to embrace the learning moments, communicate openly with your design team, and stay true to your vision. Ultimately, it’s about creating a living space that feels genuinely yours.
