What if the thing God is strengthening right now isn’t your finances…

What if it’s your foundation?

After losing my only client, my first instinct was to jump into fix-it mode.

Find another client.

Solve the problem.

Figure it out.

Immediately.

Because that’s what survival mode taught me.

But God has been teaching me something different:

Not every closed door requires panic.

Not every waiting season requires striving.

Not every uncertainty requires a self-made solution.

Sometimes God is strengthening you before He expands you.

Because the next level requires a foundation that survival mode never built.

🖤 Trust.

🖤 Stewardship.

🖤 Patience.

🖤 Obedience.

Those things don’t feel productive when you’ve lived in survival mode.

But they are often the very things God is developing.

💬 Comment “STRENGTHENING” if you’re in a waiting season.

... Read moreGoing through a waiting season can be incredibly challenging, especially when you're used to immediate action and problem-solving. From personal experience, I’ve found that these periods of uncertainty are not just pauses but intentional times where God is working deeply within us. It’s in these moments that we learn to develop trust even when the path isn’t clear and cultivate patience without feeling pressured to fix everything instantly. For me, moving beyond survival mode meant re-evaluating what productivity really looks like. Instead of rushing to secure another opportunity or client, I focused on strengthening my foundation—nurturing my faith, practicing stewardship with what I had, and obediently following the subtle guidance I received. The unexpected benefit was a renewed sense of peace and readiness, which prepared me for expansion when the timing was right. I encourage anyone in a similar season to reflect on these key traits: trust, stewardship, patience, and obedience. These are not just feel-good ideas but essential components for lasting growth that survival mode often overlooks. When we stop striving to control every outcome and start embracing what God is strengthening within us, we set the stage for breakthroughs that honor His timing. Remember, not every closed door means failure, and not every delay means defeat. Sometimes, God uses the quiet seasons to build a foundation so strong that the next level of your journey is unshakable. If you’re currently navigating such a waiting season, know that your patience and faithfulness are not in vain—they are the groundwork for your next great adventure.
