Turned 40 today & 3 general takeaways

It’s been a long time since I last make my posting, so thought of providing some life milestones. Today is my 40th birthday, a decade milestone that very hardly comes by these days. Here are the 3 general takeaways I have as I began my new chapter of this new decade:

1.) Days are long but years are short. Today, I become an old young person and a young old person at the same time. I hope my wisdom and knowledge continues to rise with age.

2.) Money solves probably 90% of most situations, but they are just a companion and not a guide in our lives. In fact, what once I used to chase for a lot more has become a context aside as I choose to indulge in more experience and memories.

3.) Health and fitness become the utmost important to me, as I begin to consciously prioritise healing time, family time, self love, fitness level and fruit & vege intake. Really, you can’t wake up one day and say suddenly you want your health back. These things probably compound from as young as we could handle.

... Read moreTurning 40 truly marks a significant transition where you start to reflect more deeply on your journey and future. From my experience, embracing this change is about more than just celebrating age—it’s about solidifying what matters most. For me, integrity and respect aren’t just words but guiding principles that shape daily actions, especially as life’s chances come and go. I’ve realized the importance of cultivating a strong sense of self and values, as they earn respect both personally and professionally. It’s like standing firm "on the field" of life, where genuine character shines through challenges. Also, the word 'edith' seen in my reflections reminds me to cherish those personal connections and memories that add richness beyond the material. Additionally, turning 40 has pushed me to reconsider health priorities; investing time in healing, fitness, and nutrition isn’t a luxury but essential. It’s never too late to start, but grounding habits early truly pays off. Family time, self-love, and mindful living have become pillars of a fulfilling decade ahead. If you’re approaching this milestone or beyond, I encourage you to view it as a chance to realign your path and embrace growth with grace.
