Temple of the Buddha
Bang Phuen Temple, Nong Khai Province, is a sacred place where Buddhists go to pay homage to their blessings, especially praying for blessings at the Mujlint Holy Well (Serpent Pool). It is believed that if they pray for anything, they will fulfill their wishes. It is also the focal point of the legendary archaeology, the Urangkha, associated with the Buddha.
🔮🔮 The highlight here is the Holy Mujlint Well (Serpent Pool): believed to be the gateway connecting the human world to the lower cities, people prayed for fortune, success, and returned the water to its glory, with seven serpent statues.
