This delay might be protection… not denial. 🙏🏾

3/27 Edited to

... Read moreIn my personal journey of faith, I've often found that the periods of waiting and delay have been some of the most challenging yet enriching times. The idea that "This delay might be protection... not denial" resonates deeply because it reframes moments of uncertainty from setbacks to safeguards. There were times when I felt frustrated waiting for answers or results—career opportunities, healing, or personal breakthroughs. However, reflecting on these moments has revealed that delays gave me space to prepare mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Trusting God’s timing became a practice of leaning on faith rather than succumbing to immediate feelings of doubt or impatience. The hashtags #FaithOverFeelings and #TrustGod underscore an essential truth: feelings can be misleading, and faith provides a steadier compass. I found that embracing this mindset allowed me to view delays not as denials but as periods where God was actively protecting me from premature actions or missteps. One practical way this protection manifests is through the refinement of character and strengthening of trust. Each delay challenges us to relinquish control and deepen our relationship with God, which in turn prepares us for what lies ahead. In sharing this experience, I encourage others to see delays as purposeful pauses filled with potential for growth and divine preservation. When we align ourselves with God's timing, waiting becomes a form of spiritual safeguarding rather than mere postponement.
