Work out with me! As a beginner.
This is the first time I've ever made a video like this; I had to cut out almost my entire workout because of the time limit and my limited editing skills, lol.
However, I found this important to share as the start of documenting my fitness and weight loss journey; this page is not just oriented around this topic, as I will post various things about myself, including my art, likes, and fashion. I also started this page to motivate my weight loss journey and make me accountable.
This is important to share because it shows a realistic look into how many people begin a fitness journey; I have to do what I can at home—jogging around the neighborhood every night and doing bodyweight sets led by YouTube fitness trainers because I do not know what I'm doing.
I Don't have a gym near me, and I can't afford a membership either, lol, but I will push myself and push forward at home.
While I have been doing this routine for a few months, I still struggle with my form and balance. Because I am still learning a lot.
Either way, I hope this shows some insight into what things might look like for someone like me. I have a long way to go, and I hope to share many things on this page: what I eat, my routines, my art, my outfits, and who I am.

If you're going to see allitle more of me, follow me on Ticktock at bigbrainloops, or my selfie insta at bigbrainloops_4eleni.
Also, thank you for all the support on my previous post! It gave me a significant boost in motivation!

It's so easy to scroll through Instagram or TikTok and see these amazing fitness influencers, like Dannellamunoz, crushing their workouts. Sometimes it makes you feel like you need a fancy gym or expensive equipment to even start. But honestly, my journey has been all about proving that you don't need any of that to make real progress. My 'realistic home workout clips' might not look as polished, but they're about genuine effort and learning to love the process. One of the biggest reasons I started working out at home was exactly that – accessibility. No gym membership fees, no commute, and no worrying about feeling judged. It allowed me to truly learn and grow my strength at my own pace, making all sorts of beginner-friendly moves without a care in the world. It can be a bit embarrassing at first, especially when you're just starting and your form isn't perfect, but being in your own space makes all the difference. It's a safe place to fail and try again. Beyond just hitting play on a YouTube video, I've found it helpful to create a little structure. Maybe dedicating specific days to full body, or focusing on upper body/lower body. There are tons of free apps that offer structured programs too, which can be great for beginners. Don't forget simple things like jogging around your neighborhood every night – it's free, gets you outside, and is brilliant for cardio. Even short bursts of activity add up! And while I said no expensive equipment, a good yoga mat can be a game-changer for floor exercises, and a set of resistance bands can add variety without breaking the bank. Even household items like water bottles or cans can be used as light weights when you're just starting out. It's all about getting creative with what you have. My struggle with form and balance is real! What's helped me is recording myself (even if I never show anyone!) and then rewatching to see where I can improve. Many YouTube trainers also offer 'form check' specific videos, which are super helpful when you don't have a personal trainer. Slowing down and focusing on the muscle engagement rather than just rushing through reps has made a huge difference. Weight loss isn't just about the workout; it's definitely a combination. I'm learning to be more mindful about what I eat, focusing on whole foods and portion control. It's not about strict diets, but making sustainable changes that support my energy levels for these home workouts. Small changes, like swapping sugary drinks for water, can have a big impact over time. Documenting my journey, even the 'embarrassing' parts, has been my secret weapon for accountability. Sharing it, even with just a few friends or on a platform like this, makes it feel more real. And seeing even tiny bits of 'progress' keeps me going. Remember, every fitness journey starts somewhere, and it looks different for everyone. Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle or end, especially when looking at those polished influencer feeds. Focus on your own growth and celebrating small wins! You've got this!
