Some of yall need a real reality check. And this message ain’t just about my students, it’s about anyone going through hard times. You don’t have to accept any and everything that’s thrown at you just because times are tough! Anyone who makes you feel guilty about saying “no, thank you,” get em from round you because 10/10 they’re not helping you with pure intentions, they just need some to talk about. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk. 😂😂💕

I just hope that those children had a wonderful prom. I heard all of that growing up as well that you should be appreciative. I was a teacher and a social service worker and didn’t make a lot of money and did it by myself my family helped. Yet I started asking my daughter what she wanted and if she liked things. I’m like you I don’t want to spend my money on anything that she didn’t like. Now if it was between 2 dresses that I could afford I let her get the one she liked the most. This life isn’t easy and people don’t realize that taking something that you don’t like isn’t showing that you appreciate anything because you don’t like it and are not going to wear it at all. So I hope all is well in your subdivision and that your students really enjoyed themselves.
