Spending time on SOLO TRIPS

Many times, we are so busy leading our life serving our boss, our colleagues, our loved ones that we fail to serve ourselves well.

On solo trips, there's no boss, no colleagues and there's no loved ones around. There's only me! I spend time with myself. I speak to myself internally. I reconcile many things within myself.

Many people asked if I will be lonely during those solo trips? I don't. I don't talk for days (except for some greetings with staff and people during the trip). Yet, I do not feel bored.

During trips, I explore a town with myself. It is so satisfying. I like nature, I trek. I like waterfalls, I visit. No need to consult anyone. When you are out on trips as a group or with family, you need to constantly engage in conversations, plan the next step if you are the planner and go with the flow if the planner has planned something that you may not want to do so. There's no time to relax.

I find peace on solo trips within myself and feel really liberated from all the daily tasks and stuff that I need to do to please others.

Have you done solo trips before too? Do you feel uplifted and liberated?

... Read moreSolo trips provide a unique opportunity to pause and truly serve yourself, free from the expectations and demands of others. On my journeys alone, I’ve found a deep sense of peace and self-acceptance that’s hard to achieve in daily life. Whether it’s trekking through scenic trails or wandering quietly through a town, the freedom to make spontaneous decisions brings a refreshing joy. For anyone hesitant about solo travel fearing loneliness, I’ve experienced quite the opposite. Silence and solitude have been my companions, allowing rich inner conversations and self-healing moments. It’s remarkable how spending uninterrupted time with yourself can help untangle emotions and reset your mental well-being. Additionally, solo travel enhances mindfulness. Without the need to coordinate with others, I can immerse myself fully in each experience — whether admiring a stunning waterfall, savoring local flavors, or simply resting in nature. The ability to flow with personal desires rather than group plans fosters a deep sense of liberation. If you’ve never tried solo trips, I encourage you to take that step. Start small, perhaps a day trip or an overnight stay somewhere new. Notice how solitude brings clarity and rejuvenation. And for those seasoned travelers, solo journeys continue to offer fresh perspectives and renewed energy whenever life feels overwhelming. In essence, solo travel is not just about exploring new places; it’s a meaningful way to reconnect with your inner self, recharge your spirit, and embrace freedom from daily routines and obligations.

Found the Perfect Solo-Girl Hotels 😍

Solo Travel Bucket List Nobody Talks About 🪣✅
So I gave myself some mini challenges. 1. Talk to random strangers (you'll probably never see them again). Why not? These interactions are part of experiencing the culture. I started small—talking to the person waiting for the train or the massage uncle giving me a leg massage. Honestly?
